Role

The Marketing Lead, ACQ RE exists to build and run the paid funnel that raises capital into Acquisition.com's real estate vertical, from first ad impression to funded investor.

ACQ RE raises capital through two motions, both owned by this role. The first is a direct-to-raise paid funnel: ad to lead magnet to opt-in to booked call to nurture to a conversation with an investor relations rep. Prospects who opt in but do not invest get the Wealth Workshop downsell. The second is a deal-driven campaign: each time a deal opens, a timed push (rolling webinar plus email) to the most recent workshop attendees, roughly 1,000 people per batch, with the deal deadline as the urgency. The target is $2M to $3M raised per campaign.

This is a hands-on, solo-operator role. You own the full stack: media buying, copywriting, landing pages, email, CRM, automation, reporting, and the handoff into the IR team. How you get there is up to you. The IR team takes the calls; you feed them qualified, correctly framed prospects and fix the pipeline when it leaks.

The role reports to Caio Beleza and works day to day with the IR sales team, Legal/Compliance, and the Media team (for asset production).

Responsibilities
  • Build and launch the direct-to-raise paid funnel end to end: ads, lead magnet, opt-in page, thank-you page with a booked call, nurture sequences, and the Wealth Workshop downsell for prospects who do not invest

  • Plan and buy media on Meta, Google, and YouTube against the cost-per-dollar-raised target, testing creative, audiences, and lead magnets weekly and killing what misses while scaling what hits

  • Write and run every email sequence in the funnel: opt-in confirmations, booked-call reminders, no-show follow-ups, unfunded-commitment nurture, and deal-driven campaign pushes to the existing audience

  • Own the marketing-to-IR handoff: agree on a shared definition of a qualified lead, a booked call, a held call, a commitment, and funded capital with the IR sales manager; pace lead volume to rep capacity; build the pre-call sequence that lifts show rate and investor readiness

  • Route every public-facing claim through Legal/Compliance before it goes live, maintain a pre-approved claims and language library, and flag anything that touches securities marketing rules before building it

Requirements
  • Has built and run a paid funnel from ad to booked human call to closed revenue, and can show the numbers: spend, cost per acquisition, and the timeline to target CAC

  • Hands-on media buyer on Meta, Google, and YouTube who reads a CAC and LTV model and makes spend decisions from it, not from gut feel

  • Writes ad copy, landing pages, and email sequences without a copywriter, and is comfortable with high-ticket, consultative sales cycles where the close happens days or weeks after the first touch

  • Has run a funnel that hands off to a human sales team and owned the handoff metrics (show rate, booked-to-closed), not only the top of funnel

  • Has marketed a regulated or high-scrutiny product (investments, real estate syndications, financial services, insurance, or health) and built the legal/compliance review step into the workflow instead of fighting it

Results
  • Direct-to-raise funnel is live and booking calls into the IR team's calendar within the first 90 days

  • First deal-driven campaign runs against the existing audience within the first 90 days, with a clear booked-to-funded number

  • Funnel dashboard is live with spend, opt-ins, calls booked, calls held, commitments, funded capital, cost per dollar raised, and CAC per investor, reported weekly by channel and campaign

  • Cost per dollar raised and CAC per investor are at or below target, and funded capital from the funnel grows month over month

  • Booked-to-funded rate rises as the marketing-to-IR handoff tightens, with both sides seeing the same number

Schedule
  • Standard business hours with flexibility to align with the IR team and campaign deadlines

Location
  • Full-time, remote (international eligible, hired through an Employer of Record)

Compensation
  • $180,000 base salary

  • The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below).

Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive, evolving benefits package designed to support your health, family, and wellbeing. Some key offerings:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
