Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Marketing Designer to join our in-house creative team and help bring our brand to life across marketing, advertising, digital, sales, and events. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who can take creative direction, brand guidelines, or an established campaign structure and run with it — producing polished, on-brand work across multiple channels with minimal hand-holding.

You don't need to originate campaign concepts from scratch, but you should be comfortable applying and extending an identity: adapting a visual system to new formats, making smart judgment calls within established guardrails, and knowing when something doesn't look right even if you didn't design the original system. You'll partner closely with the Creative Director and Marketing/Product Marketing stakeholders to execute work that's consistent, high-quality, and on-strategy.

Job Duties

Brand & Campaign Execution

  • Apply and extend established brand and campaign identity across a wide range of marketing materials, including social media, paid campaigns, email, landing pages, presentations, sales collateral, events, internal communications, and print.

  • Adapt existing creative direction to new formats, channels, and sizes while maintaining visual consistency

  • Flag inconsistencies or opportunities to tighten up the visual system, even when not originating it

  • Execute against creative briefs and campaign structures provided by the Creative Director

Marketing & Brand Design

  • Design marketing materials including digital advertising, social content, email, sales enablement and collateral, presentations, case studies, and event materials

  • Build and maintain brand and campaign templates for recurring use across the team

Web & Digital Design

  • Design landing pages and web experiences with solid digital UX fundamentals

  • Build responsive layouts for web and email

  • Maintain attention to typography, hierarchy, accessibility, and visual consistency across digital touchpoints

Digital Advertising

  • Design digital ad creative across formats and platforms (paid social, display, etc.)

  • Produce ad variations and resizes efficiently for A/B testing and multi-channel campaigns

  • Adapt creative to platform-specific specs without sacrificing quality

Production & Execution

  • Take projects from brief to final production with a solid degree of independence

  • Prepare files accurately for digital, print, presentation, and event applications

  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Maintain organized, scalable working files

Collaboration

  • Partner with the Creative Director to execute creative direction

  • Collaborate with Content, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Marketing Ops

  • Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback quickly

  • Communicate clearly on timelines, priorities, and blockers

  • Incorporate feedback constructively and build capability across new formats, tools, and channels as team needs evolve.

  • Support accessible and inclusive design practices across digital and print work.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4-6 years of professional graphic or marketing design experience, ideally in-house, agency, or B2B/SaaS/healthcare environments.

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and brand application across digital and print work.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma or a comparable collaborative design platform.

  • Experience preparing production-ready files and adapting approved concepts across multiple formats and dimensions, including web, digital ads, social, email, and presentations.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage several assignments with competing deadlines.

  • Clear communication skills and comfort receiving and applying creative feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting B2B software, healthcare, education, or another regulated or mission-driven organization.

  • Experience with presentation design, basic motion graphics, video editing, or digital accessibility.

  • Experience working on a distributed creative team with shared templates and asset libraries.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
