About the role
As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll play a central role in how HackerRank is perceived by prospects and customers. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Customer Marketing and assist with executing high-visibility programs across customer communications, field events, gifting, sales enablement, and customer advocacy. This is a hands-on role with broad scope and real ownership, ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to build a versatile foundation while working alongside HackerRank's leadership team.
What you will do- Coordinate HackerRank's flagship field events, including Customer Advisory Boards, partner events, tech meetups, executive dinners, and conferences.
- Project manage HackerRank's bi-annual GTM offsites in April and October, helping with logistics, attendee experience, content production, and on-site execution.
- Support production of marketing emails to customers, including content coordination, HTML build, QA, and performance reporting.
- Execute customer onboarding email programs, operational customer communications, and quarterly release communications in partnership with Product Management.
- Manage HackerRank's customer gifting program through Sendoso, including direct to customer gifts, onsite visit gifts, branded swag inventory, and holiday gifting.
- Own weekly G2 and Capterra review site management, tracking customer advocacy wins, budget, and incentives.
- Partner with the broader marketing team on cross-functional projects, including ABM campaigns, sales enablement material maintenance, and customer success story production.
- 1 to 3 years of marketing, communications, or coordination experience, including internships and extracurricular leadership for early-career candidates.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with examples of work where you caught what others missed.
- Strong project management instincts, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams with different stakeholders, cadences, and deadlines.
- Clear written communicator who can adapt voice for different audiences, from executive customer-facing emails to internal updates.
- AI fluent, with examples of how you've used tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or others to work faster and produce better output.
- Comfortable with marketing tech tools, or eager to learn quickly. Experience with HubSpot, Sendoso, ChurnZero, G2, or similar is a plus.
- Takes initiative to improve processes rather than waiting for them to be assigned.
- Goes above and beyond on projects, with examples to point to.
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS marketing programs.
- Experience coordinating events, including vendor management and on-site logistics.
- Familiarity with technical hiring, HR tech, or talent acquisition.
- Experience drafting in someone else's voice (executive comms, ghostwriting, social media management).
- Sweat the small details and hold yourself to a high bar.
- Anticipate what's needed, clarify ambiguity, and move work forward without waiting for direction.
- Build trust quickly with internal teammates and external partners through follow-through and clear communication.
- Genuinely enjoy a fast-paced, varied workload over a narrow, specialized one.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $135,000, including a target 10% annual bonus tied to individual and company performance. You will also receive equity (stock options) and a comprehensive package of cash and non-cash benefits.
