THE ROLE
An Artist Management company is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help execute plans and strategies for our artists. This role will serve as the Head of Marketing’s right hand and will facilitate marketing, branding, and advertising campaigns around albums, ecommerce, website, and social media properties for our artist roster, making it a priority to stay informed about the market, industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Day to day, the Marketing Coordinator may draft reports, create or coordinate content, track results, build relationships and otherwise support all marketing strategies. The Marketing Coordinator will often act as an intermediary between various teams and partners internally and externally to the organization.
This role requires an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Support the Head of Marketing and Director of Creative & Content Marketing to coordinate social marketing posts, email marketing, creating unique fan engaged campaigns, driving ticket sales, and running advertising for our roster.
Coordinates and executes advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Google, Spotify and Pandora using best practices to understand and grow our artists fan bases and effectively drive ROI. Responsible for reporting and communicating ROI and relevant tracking for artist campaigns.
Facilitate and track various revenue streams and performing benchmarks on music for our roster including but not limited to Artist Web Stores, Fan Clubs, YouTube, DSPs, Mobile, Partner Websites, etc.
Coordinate the fan experience including design & aesthetics, content, navigation, information architecture, branding/marketing, performance, functionality, and technical infrastructure for artist’s websites, DSPs, socials and e-commerce stores.
Coordinate and sometimes develop content for social media sites to expand our client’s presence and drive traffic to our client’s website(s).
Generate content ideas. Assigns topics and may write content. Edits copy to meet established tone and theme requirements.
Participates in the implementation and monitoring of the our roster’s social media presence. Participates in the execution, monitoring and adjusting of social media plans and campaigns for our roster. Tracks social media performance and online engagement metrics against benchmarks. Coordinates the development and placement of social media content. May write and/or review content.
Monitor social media sites to identify emerging trends and collaborates with internal teams to integrate trends into content produced by organization. Evaluates and adjusts strategies for social media postings to meet changing social media technologies.
Looks at all areas from fan engagement, marketing, advertising, customer services, warehousing & distributing in order to ensure we are delivering the best in class service for our roster and are consistently driving revenue growth and fan engagement.
Supports Head of Marketing and Artist Managers as requested and as resources permit.
Participates in new business efforts as directed.
Assist in the development and implementation of our client’s brand strategies
Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation for fans
Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success
Provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications required
At least 1-2 years of marketing experience with previous experience in traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Previous music or entertainment experience preferred
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Experience in at least one of the following: social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok), DSPs (Google’s DV360, The Trade Desk) Paid Search (Google Ads, SA360), Digital ad trafficking tools (Campaign Manager/DCM, etc.)
Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite and Mac Products like Keynote, Mail, Google Drive, Dropbox etc.
Working knowledge of HTML, design, and email software
Experience using iMovie, Photoshop, or similar content editor apps

The expected compensation for this position is:
$25.60 USD - $32.00 USD Hourly** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
