Job Description

Job Title:              Marketing Coordinator

Department:      Marketing

Reports To:         Marketing Director

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of HomeXpress Mortgage Corp.’s marketing initiatives with a primary focus on graphic design, content creation, social media marketing, and creative production. This position creates engaging, brand-consistent marketing materials and digital content that support the Company’s sales and marketing objectives.

The Marketing Coordinator also provides project coordination and administrative support for Marketing Department initiatives, helping ensure marketing deliverables are accurate, timely, organized, and completed in accordance with established Company standards and approval processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and create engaging, brand-consistent marketing content and collateral, including social media posts, flyers, graphics, presentations, email content, digital campaigns, promotional materials, and other creative assets.
  • Support the Company’s social media strategy through content creation, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring.
  • Assist with the creation and editing of video and multimedia content for social media, marketing campaigns, product education, and other Company initiatives.
  • Help develop and maintain the Marketing Department’s content and creative calendar.
  • Maintain and update marketing materials to reflect current products, programs, underwriting guidelines, and other business changes in a timely manner.
  • Ensure marketing materials are consistent with Company branding and follow established review and approval processes.
  • Support marketing campaigns, events, conferences, promotional activities, and other department initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, sales teams, vendors, and other business partners as needed to complete marketing projects and deliverables.
  • Monitor marketing, social media, and design trends and assist with competitor or market research as needed.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, special projects, and other duties as necessary to support the Marketing Department and Company initiatives.
  • Perform additional task as directed by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong graphic design and content creation skills with an eye for layout, branding, and visual consistency.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or Canva.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and digital content creation.
  • Video creation and editing skills are highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • General understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and basic market and competitor research.
  • Portfolio or examples of graphic design, social media content, video, or other creative work are strongly preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • One to two years of experience in marketing, graphic design, content creation, social media, communications, or a related field preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position operates primarily in an office environment and routinely uses a computer and other standard office equipment. The position requires the ability to move within the department and to other Company locations as necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
