Are you the type of marketer who loves making things happen? The one who thrives on keeping projects moving, wrangling content calendars, and hitting publish right on time? Do you geek out over the details of scheduling posts, uploading videos, or making sure a blog looks perfect on the website? If so, you might be just who we’re looking for.

At Fixify we’re redefining the IT help desk for the AI era. Our AI-assisted platform combines smart tech with human care to make the messy last mile of IT support smooth. We’re scaling quickly, and we need a Marketing Coordinator (Contractor) to help us bring that story to market — making sure our content, campaigns, and channels run smoothly and on time.

This is a 4-month contract role (with potential to extend) that will support our Corporate Marketing function in executing across social media, blogs, podcasts, YouTube, and our website. You’ll be the glue that keeps the publishing engine running — collaborating with our marketers, subject matter experts, designers, and developers to make sure everything hits the calendar on time.

What we can do for you
  • $23,400 contract value for a 4-month engagement (~$70k annualized).
  • Flexible, remote-first culture.
  • Exposure to experienced high-growth B2B startup marketing, working closely with senior leaders.
  • A chance to play a hands-on role in scaling a brand that’s redefining the IT help desk.
What you can do for us
  • Manage the Fixify marketing content calendar across blog, social, podcasts, YouTube, and website.
  • Schedule and publish LinkedIn posts for the Fixify brand account.
  • Monitor engagement and flag items for the team when responses are needed.
  • Build, edit, and publish blog posts in Webflow (including formatting and creative assets).
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts for blog briefs and future content inputs.
  • Collaborate with designers to produce supporting graphics for blog, social, and video.
  • Use Wondercraft (AI tool) to produce and publish the Fixify Blog to Go podcast.
  • Upload and publish YouTube videos, descriptions, and thumbnails.
  • Maintain a website project calendar, coordinating updates with web developers.
  • Track publishing workflows and ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and brand standards.
What you should bring with you
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination or content publishing.
  • Experience managing and executing content calendars across multiple channels.
  • Hands-on professional experience with social media publishing (LinkedIn required, YouTube a plus).
  • Experience with web content management systems (CMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and a knack for keeping projects on track.
  • Comfort collaborating with designers, developers, and subject matter experts.
  • Bonus points for: Notion, Webflow, or light copy editing chops.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
