LiveHappy Initiative is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager for a remote, performance-based role in the leadership and personal development sector.

This is not a traditional salaried position. It is designed for an experienced professional who values independence, continued growth, and greater ownership of their schedule and results. The role may be pursued full-time or part-time, with comprehensive training, mentorship, and established systems provided.

You’ll use proven digital marketing strategies and professional communication to generate interest, connect with prospective clients, and introduce leadership and personal development programs to people exploring positive change.

What You’ll Do

  • Use established digital marketing systems to generate and manage interest
  • Create and adapt marketing communications using provided resources and guidelines
  • Connect with people who have requested additional information
  • Conduct structured introductory conversations to understand individual goals and assess alignment
  • Share clear, relevant information about the programs and role
  • Develop relationships through thoughtful communication and consistent follow-up

You’ll manage your own marketing, communication, and prospect activity within an established framework. This position does not involve managing employees or a corporate marketing department.

  • Are comfortable using digital marketing, CRM, and communication tools
  • Work effectively independently and take ownership of your activity and results
  • Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, organization, and consistent follow-through
  • Are open to following an established, step-by-step process
  • Value continued leadership, personal, and professional development
  • Are driven, motivated, and ready for a new chapter
  • Are open to an independent, performance-based role rather than a traditional salaried position
  • Reside in the United States or Canada; applicants in other locations may be considered based on eligibility

Prior experience in the personal development industry is not required. Comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship are provided.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
