We are Kickstart Accounting, Inc.

Kickstart Accounting, Inc. is a woman-owned virtual accounting firm specializing in helping business owners understand their financials. Our growing virtual accounting firm is seeking a Part-Time (developing into full-time) Marketing Assistant.

This position will be working directly in our Operations Team, then 20-30 hrs/week on execution and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution using the following tools: Social media, email marketing, and podcasting.  
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our social media, website and blog that attracts and converts women business owners into clients.  
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.  
  • Email Marketing: Analyze behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.  
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Job Requirements: 

  • Experience writing social media, marketing, or other customer-facing content 
  • Experience working with online service providers, small businesses, or digital platforms is a plus. 
  • An interest in marketing and a willingness to learn and grow your skills. 
  • A creative mindset and an interest in developing content that engages, educates, and motivates an audience. 
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)  
  • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and basic performance metrics. 
  • A strong eye for aesthetics and a love for creative ideas, and witty communication. 
  • Familiarity with current social media and online marketing trends, with an eagerness to stay up to date.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Pay:

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
