What You’ll Do
You will join the Treasury Accounting team, which is responsible for accurate accounting, reporting, and control environment for CoreWeave’s treasury-related activities, with a primary focus on OEM and vendor financing arrangements that support our capital-intensive infrastructure growth. In addition, you will support the company’s hedging programs, including derivative and hedge accounting activities. The team partners closely with Treasury, Legal, Tax, Fixed Assets, Corporate Accounting, AP/GBS, and external auditors to ensure proper U.S. GAAP treatment, SEC-compliant disclosures, and a strong internal control framework across complex financing structures.

The team partners closely with Treasury, Legal, Tax, Fixed Assets, corporate accounting, and external auditors to ensure proper U.S. GAAP treatment, SEC-compliant disclosures, and a strong internal control framework.
About the Role
As the Manager, Treasury Accounting, you will play a critical role in leading the accounting and financial reporting for the company’s OEM and vendor financing arrangements, while also overseeing derivative and hedge accounting activities. Reporting to senior leadership within the CAO organization, you will own the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for vendor financing transactions, from initial evaluation and classification through ongoing operational accounting, reporting, and disclosure.
This role requires strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting, scalable processes, and well-designed internal controls as the organization continues to expand its infrastructure footprint. This position is based in either Manhattan, NY or Sunnyvale, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting for OEM and vendor financing arrangements, including evaluation of contractual terms, classification analysis, initial recognition, and ongoing accounting treatment
- Partner closely with AP/GBS, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate operational execution and reporting of vendor financing transactions
- Assess and document technical accounting conclusions related to complex financing structures, including embedded features and other structured elements.
- Support preparation of OEM/vendor financing disclosures within Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including relevant footnotes and MD&A discussion
- Maintain and enhance SOX controls over vendor financing processes, ensuring appropriate documentation, review controls, and audit readiness.
- Manage accounting for derivative instruments, including interest rate swaps, FX forwards, power purchase agreements, and other hedging activities
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and accurate recording of designated and non-designated derivatives in accordance with ASC 815
- Collaborate with Treasury on periodic hedge effectiveness assessments and related documentation
- Research and analyze relevant technical accounting topics, including embedded derivatives, and prepare supporting memoranda for review with external auditors
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization initiatives across OEM financing and derivatives workflows
- Collaborate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits on treasury-related accounting areas
Participate in ad hoc projects supporting the broader CAO and Treasury organizations
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
- 7+ years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or industry experience
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly explain complex technical accounting topics to cross-functional stakeholders
- Organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 to $168,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
