As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of Red Bull North America’s (RBNA) trade marketing initiatives across the multi-channel retail segments, including drug, value, specialty retail, military, and business development sub-channels. You will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative, insight-driven retail marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, increase shopper engagement, and improve commercial performance at scale.

 

In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, Shopper Insights, Category Management, Distribution, Operations, and agency partners to concept, develop, and execute trade marketing plans, integrated point-of-sale (POS) solutions, and scalable merchandising programs tailored to the specific needs of each sub-channel. You must understand the retail environment to design effective merchandising solutions, stay informed on trends and the future of in-store marketing, seek to understand shopper behavior, and, above all, be driven to outperform the competition and present Red Bull as the leading brand in-store.

 

You will act as a strategic partner to Sales and Distribution leadership and play a key role in aligning national initiatives with account-specific plans. As the subject matter expert on POS strategy and permanent POS tools, you will lead continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the multi-channel segment.

Job Description

RETAIL VISIBILITY STRATEGY

Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives to strengthen brand presence and improve commercial performance.

Act as the subject matter expert for POS and merchandising plans across assigned accounts.

Define and execute go-to-market strategies for print and permanent POS across multiple channels.

Identify key account opportunities and develop and implement corresponding action plans.

Manage custom POS requests to ensure alignment with business strategy, budget constraints, and brand standards.

Drive strategic execution through regular market visits and close collaboration with Sales teams and customers.

DEVELOP WINNING INNOVATIONS

Lead the development of insight-driven point-of-sale (POS) solutions that meet retailer needs and enhance in-store brand presence.

Collaborate with Headquarters Trade Marketing, Procurement, Sales, Operations, Distribution, Global Trade Marketing, agencies, and suppliers to deliver innovative POS tools.

Manage the end-to-end POS development process, including concept development, sampling, production, and final delivery.

Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to support merchandising and promotional initiatives.

Use shopper and business insights to inform POS strategy and develop channel-specific solutions.

LOOK LIKE #1 IN STORE

Execute RBNA marketing strategies to strengthen retail presence, ensure compliance, and improve point-of-sale (POS) effectiveness.

Partner with the Distribution team to achieve flawless in-store execution at all key shopper touchpoints.

Manage the profiling of new POS items, coordinating information across internal stakeholders and communicating effectively throughout the business.

Identify opportunities to innovate and optimize Red Bull’s brand presence in the retail environment.

Develop and distribute trade marketing materials, resources, and tools.

Take ownership of project tasks, schedules, and status updates within the relevant systems and tools.

Proactively seek ways to drive innovation and enhance Red Bull’s visibility and impact at retail.

BUSINESS INSIGHTS

Evaluate the effectiveness of insight-driven channel marketing activities and report on the results.

Support the annual multichannel business planning process by providing strategies and guidelines on effective POS solutions to achieve commercial and brand objectives.

Collaborate with Red Bull’s insights team to connect shopper and business insights with our portfolio of tools, creating internal- and external-facing content suitable for conceptual selling, sell sheets, and other relevant trade communications.

Analyze historical data and trends to forecast future needs and improvements, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Identify and communicate successes and opportunities during regular market visits and distribution ride-alongs.

Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in a way that exceeds customer expectations.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the consumer goods industry, including exposure to retailers, is required

Exceptional planning, prioritization, and project management skills

Strong communication skills, including presenting, writing, and collaboration

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong interpersonal skills that support cross-departmental networking

Conscientious, with strong attention to detail and a self-starter attitude

Creative mindset, comfortable questioning and improving the status quo

Technical knowledge of POS production (print, permanent, temporary) is preferred

Experience working with agencies or production suppliers is preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required

Embodies and represents the Red Bull brand

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,500 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
