Rate Range: Upto $91/hr on W2

Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5–7 years of accounting, auditing, technical accounting, or accounting advisory experience.
  • Hands-on experience researching accounting issues and applying U.S. GAAP or IFRS guidance.
  • Experience analyzing accounting treatment for transactions, contracts, or business matters.
  • Experience preparing or contributing to accounting memos, technical analyses, or documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Technical Accounting team with accounting issues and questions from business units.
  • Research and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for complex transactions.
  • Review contracts, business arrangements, and other documentation for accounting implications.
  • Prepare accounting memoranda, technical analyses, white papers, and supporting documentation.
  • Support revenue recognition, lease accounting, mergers and acquisitions, business combinations, and other technical accounting matters.
  • Apply U.S. GAAP and, when applicable, IFRS guidance to accounting conclusions.
  • Support the development and update of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Support financial statement reviews, audit requests, and accounting documentation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders.
  • Support accounting training and special projects.
  • Work as an individual contributor. This role does not include direct staff management responsibilities.
  • Manage assigned technical accounting projects and clearly document the conclusions reached.
Qualifications
  • Experience in technical accounting, financial auditing, accounting advisory, or a related accounting function.
  • Experience with a reputable public accounting firm is strongly relevant. Big Four experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to explain accounting conclusions clearly to Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounting assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience with a Manager title is not required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate specific technical accounting projects, accounting memos, or accounting issues they have researched and resolved.
  • Basic familiarity with AI-enabled tools used for research, analysis, or documentation.
Nice to Have
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Direct IFRS experience.
  • Experience with revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, mergers and acquisitions, or complex contract arrangements.
  • Entertainment, media, gaming, software, or other related industry experience.
  • Experience supporting accounting policy implementation or finance transformation projects.
  • Experience working with international Finance teams or global reporting requirements.
