Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 3 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals within our Global Supply Chain organization. This leadership role is located onsite in Palmdale, CA.

The position will lead integration for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization supporting a program division within Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems and will report directly to the VP of Supply Chain. Responsible and accountable for GSC integration with overall scaling activities across the program, which includes ramp initiatives, NCTA and capital projects, and affordability efforts. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing synchronized GSC strategies for all sites with regards to rate readiness. Serves as the senior GSC leader to work horizontally across all functions to ensure alignment with key objectives.

Execution:

  • Key leadership interface for program and functional senior leadership
  • Responsible and accountable for GSC integration with scaling efforts for all sites
  • Provides leadership for the GSC organization in a matrixed environment, ensuring strategies and plans are aligned with business objectives
  • Leads GSC rhythm to optimize visibility and ensure timely communication
  • Will participate in cross-functional meetings, collaborating on solution sets

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field, Masters degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field, or high school diploma/equivalent with 11 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment
  • Aerospace & Defense (A&D) experience
  • Current active U.S. Government Secret clearance

  • Ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree
  • Project Management expertise with integration toolset
  • Experience with business case development and execution
  • Extensive program management experience
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes

Primary Level Salary Range: $175,400.00 - $263,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
