ABOUT THE ROLE: 

The Manager of Reporting & Analytics will lead the data reporting and business intelligence initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, actionable insights across the organization by developing and maintaining enterprise reporting tools, with a strong emphasis on Power BI, Agile project execution, and data governance best practices. The Manager will support the team with development efforts as needed to drive delivery and remove blockers. They will also be responsible for driving automation, advanced analytics, and machine learning by leveraging modern development technologies and frameworks to elevate business intelligence capabilities.


WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

Team Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and developers focused on business intelligence and enterprise reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative, Agile work environment with a strong focus on delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for reporting and analytics initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Establish and track KPIs to evaluate team performance and data delivery impact.

Reporting & Analytics Oversight

  • Manage the full lifecycle of reporting solutions from requirements gathering through to delivery and support.
  • Champion the use of Power BI to deliver dashboards, visualizations, and ad hoc reporting that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance across all reports and dashboards.
  • Promote data literacy and empower business users to self-serve where appropriate.

 Agile Execution & Project Management

  • Lead the team in Agile sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize work, communicate updates, and deliver incremental value.

Technical & Analytical Expertise

  • Drive innovation in data sourcing, transformation, and automation—including potential use of Python for scripting, data modeling, and analysis.
  • Partner with data engineers and IT on optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure for analytics.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement enterprise metrics and reporting standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & INTERESTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in data reporting, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience managing or leading technical teams.
  • Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and Power Query required. 
  • Experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, or analytics.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, AWS).
  • Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks and best practices
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and Agile project delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into business insight.
  • Effective communicator—able to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to drive change and influence cross-functional teams.
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
Estimated Pay Range
$125,000$135,000 USD
