Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers, developing and growing organization to support the dynamic needs of the business
- Support day-to-day operations by assigning and delegating work across the team
- Drive solutions to the biggest operational problems by leading root cause and corrective action investigations
- Own resolution of Discrepancy Reports in operational areas, including suppliers
- Partner closely with manufacturing, integration, supply chain, engineering, and program teams to promote safe, efficient, and reliable operational success
- Develop and enforce quality requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Lead key Quality Management System activities, inclusive of internal audits, calibration management, nonconformance management, etc.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree
- Working knowledge of a variety of design, fabrication, integration, and testing methodologies
- Intermediate knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Solid understanding of multiple root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership position with direct reports
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Experience performing and applying statistical analysis methodologies
- Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing, electromechanical assembly, propulsion production, structures fabrication, and vehicle integration and test
