OUAI is a prestige beauty and personal care brand founded by celebrity hairstylist, Jen Atkin. “OUAI,” means “yes” in that casual Parisian way. The brand is guided by the mission “wherever you go, go all the OUAI” and this bold & playful spirit impacts everything from culture to marketing to product. OUAI’s product categories – ranging from hair care to body care, fragrances, personal care, and merch – are designed to reflect its commitment to easy, effective, and enjoyable self-care.

Since its launch, OUAI has built a strong and growing omnichannel presence through direct-to-consumer channels, specialty beauty retailers, and global distribution partners. The brand continues to expand into new markets, deepen consumer loyalty, and scale its differentiated, high-margin business model internationally. OUAI is recognized for its straightforward approach to beauty, its distinctive fragrance profile, and its ability to meet consumer needs across multiple lifestyle-driven categories. The brand formulates without sulfates or parabens and maintains a commitment to creating high-quality, effective products.

OUAI’s culture is shaped by its ethos —fun, purposeful, and approachable—and is anchored by five Culture Codes:

1. We Aren’t Afraid to Go First.

2. We Don’t Compete, We Collaborate.

3. We Ask Questions to Find the Best Answers.

4. We Keep It Real, in a OUAI That’s Kind.

5. We Go All the OUAI With Work & Play.

OUAI is focused on ongoing category innovation, continued international expansion, and delivering high-quality consumer experiences that reinforce the brand’s identity and long-term growth trajectory.

They will play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up through influencer content to help build authentic, high-impact programming.

The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in the influencer landscape, with a strong understanding of emerging trends and the competitive space and  can help translate these insights into clear, actionable moments  that evolve and strengthen OUAI’s approach.

RequirementsWhat you'll do:
  • Execute OUAI’s influencer marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, event support, PR mailers, gifting programs, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Own day-to-day management of influencer gifting and seeding initiatives, ensuring consistent creator engagement and relationship development.
  • Identify and prioritize relevant partner profiles across nano, micro, and macro tiers, including creators and hair professionals.
  • Help support scalable partnership models such as gifting, seeding, and organic creator engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, paid media, social, and PR teams to ensure alignment on messaging and content usage.
  • Manage influencer outreach from initial contact through ongoing relationship development.
  • Monitor and report on gifting, seeding, and evergreen campaign performance, including engagement, creator output, earned media value (EMV), reach, and conversion metrics.
  • Leverage influencer marketing platforms such as CreatorIQ OR Tribe Dynamics to track performance, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Translate campaign data into clear recommendations, providing strategic rationale for creator selection, seeding decisions, mailer recipients, and partnership opportunities.
  • Refine outreach strategies, campaign messaging, and partnership structures based on performance results and insights.
  • Track and share key learnings, competitive trends, and influencer landscape updates to inform future strategy and improve overall program performance.
What you'll bring:
  • 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or talent management, preferably within beauty, lifestyle, or a closely related category.
  • Hands-on experience with CreatorIQ and/or Tribe Dynamics is required.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret influencer performance data, measure EMV, engagement, and campaign effectiveness, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience building performance reports and presenting insights to stakeholders, with a focus on explaining the "why" behind creator selection, gifting strategies, and campaign outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain creator and industry relationships.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple partnerships, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of the influencer landscape, emerging creator trends, and competitive best practices.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally across marketing, social, PR, and paid media teams.

Benefits
  • Annual Base Salary Range is $100,000 - $110,000K (based on experience) + potential for yearly bonus
  • Medical + Dental + Vision

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
