In this role, you will report to the Global Senior Director of Social Media and Influencer Marketing and assist with strategy and execution of Hourglass’ current and growing influencer marketing program. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building strategies and creative concepts, identifying and engaging influencers, managing outreach programs, and creating captivating, brand worthy content. A deep-rooted interest in beauty and lifestyle with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is a must. Success in this role requires a well-rounded knowledge of the influencer and social media landscape, both paid and earned. Moreover, you are data-driven and can transform numbers into stories, on which you will base your strategic decisions. Experience in community building program is key, as well as strong cross-functional communication skills; both verbal and written. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop influencer campaign strategies for both paid and earned: from creative concept to influencer selection
  • Execute influencer campaigns: influencer outreach, negotiation, briefing, contracting, content review
  • Lead on talent discovery, building and maintaining influencer relationships within various verticals for earned and paid executions
  • Support global mailer program
  • Build and manage community events
  • Analyze and report the effectiveness of programs and competitive analysis for key stakeholders utilizing social listening tools such as Creator IQ, Tribe, Traackr, etc.
  • Turn data into actionable insights
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining the influencer database to ensure it is up to date
  • Responsible for tracking product orders and sends to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are kept
  • Partner with Social, Paid Media and PR teams to build synergies between our programs
  • Manage the affiliate marketing program in partnership with the Digital and eCommerce teams
  • Demonstrate ability to think both creatively and critically, willing to think outside the box and challenge the status quo while demonstrating sound judgement in strategic decision making.
  • Highly adaptable and able to adjust to changing demands and shifting priorities while coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Energetic self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills to formulate and articulate value points to internal & external teams
  • Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open minded, persistent and highly collaborative, with a passion for and understanding of the influencer/social space and the ability to quickly learn about new technologies and platforms

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years influencer marketing experience with 3 years in Beauty
  • Passionate about the Beauty Industry
  • Strong project management skills – timings, details oriented, flawless execution
  • Must understand Influencer Marketing to its core
  • Established relationships with influencers and industry players
  • Knowledge of international talent is a plus
  • Proven success in community building
  • Must have excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • Up to date with social culture and trends
  • Understands best-in-class content storytelling
  • Must have a good understanding of paid media (opportunities and limitations)
  • Data oriented, able to turn numbers into a story
  • Must feel comfortable with delivering insights that have real business impact

The expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 per year. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
