Job Description

We are looking for a Manager, FP&A Sourcing to lead financial strategy, cost optimization, and analytics within sourcing, trade and procurement. This role will work closely with Sourcing, Global Trade, and Finance teams to enhance efficiencies, improve supplier negotiations, and develop resilient sourcing strategies that mitigate risks, ensure supply continuity, and enhance supplier diversification. 

This position reports to the VP, Enterprise FP&A and is based in Irvine, CA. 

As the Finance Manager, Sourcing you will have an opportunity to: 

Financial Strategy & Cost Optimization 

  • Drive FP&A for Sourcing & Procurement – Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize cost structures. 

  • Develop Cost & Valuation Models – Build and refine models to support sourcing decisions, vendor negotiations, and network design. 

  • Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities – Analyze sourcing costs, supplier pricing, and market trends to drive financial efficiency. 

  • Lead Cost Productivity Initiatives – Partner with cross-functional teams to design, evaluate, and implement cost-reduction strategies. 

Sourcing Resiliency & Risk Mitigation 

  • Enhance Supplier Diversification – Support sourcing strategies to minimize dependency on single suppliers and strengthen alternative sourcing options through financial analysis and reporting. 

  • Risk Management & Contingency Planning – Identify financial risks in the supply chain and support dual sourcing, nearshoring, and regional diversification strategies. 

  • Optimize Procurement & Supplier Agreements – Assess supplier contracts to ensure financial and operational alignment with long-term business objectives. 

Analytics & Performance Tracking 

  • Establish Key Financial KPIs – Monitor and improve sourcing cost trends, procurement efficiency, and vendor performance. 

  • Leverage Data & Technology – Use financial analytics, big data tools, and automation to generate actionable insights on cost trends and supplier performance. 

  • Support Strategic Decision-Making – Provide financial recommendations to senior leadership on supplier selections, make-buy decisions, and sourcing investments. 

You have:  

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred). 

  • Experience: 5+ years in CPG, manufacturing, or a fast-paced consumer-driven organization, with experience in finance and supply chain. 

  • Financial Expertise: Proven ability to develop financial models, drive cost optimization, and manage sourcing analytics. 

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 

  • Sourcing & Supply Chain Knowledge: Strong understanding of supplier negotiations, cost drivers, and sourcing resiliency strategies. 

  • Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI). 

  • Strategic Influence: Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
