Job Overview

The Manager, Client Services is an integral position on the Experiential Team at THE•TEAM with responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, from brief to execution. The Manager, Client Services will provide support to the project team to ensure that all client deliverables and project milestones are delivered on time, on budget, and at a quality level expected by THE•TEAM and its clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Own various components of large scale projects to support the day to day management of accounts and projects
  • Lead the development and execution of small scale projects with support from an account team and oversight from an Account Director
  • Support the strategic development of activation concepts that deliver on client requests, demonstrating critical thinking and creative problem solving
  • Manage various elements of a project from planning through execution and post event recapping
  • Work collaboratively with all THE•TEAM account teams to ensure flawless project delivery against client objectives and agreed upon budgets
  • Develop, manage, and reconcile project budgets of $200K+
  • Ensure projects are correctly budgeted for and meet expected financial targets
  • Develop status sheets, project milestone documents, and enforce deliverable dates essential to program success
  • Manage and develop client, supplier, and third party relationships throughout the duration of projects
  • Understand the landscape for each client’s business sector, as well as the media and cultural context for their investments
  • Create a positive, collaborative, team oriented environment that aligns with THE•TEAM company culture and values
  • Troubleshoot and creatively problem solve throughout projects
  • Follow all project processes and procedures to uphold quality standards
  • Attend conferences, tradeshows, and industry events as necessary to ensure THE•TEAM continues to provide best in class programs and innovative thinking for industry leading clients. Primary client focus will skew toward beauty and lifestyle brands, with a strong emphasis on luxury beauty education events and experiential programming.
  • Ensure consistent positive working relationships between departments and other Experience team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degre
  • 2 to 4 years relevant event experience, preferably within experiential marketing, sports, entertainment, beauty, or lifestyle sectors
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proactively identify issues before they arise and develop thoughtful solutions
  • Comfortable working as an integral part of a collaborative team environment
  • Open minded mentality with the ability to explore all ideas and thought starters thoroughly
  • Ability to put out small “fires” while understanding when escalation is needed
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload while coordinating across teams to proactively meet deadlines
  • Must thrive in a fast paced environment and possess a positive, can do attitude at all times
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized

Base salary range: $60,000 - $75,000, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each role
