UTA seeks an experienced Enterprise Applications Manager to oversee the strategy, operations, and lifecycle management of the organization’s enterprise application portfolio. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams that support and optimize a wide range of cloud-based business applications within a Microsoft Entra ID environment. Key responsibilities include application governance, vendor relationship management, and roadmap development to ensure that platforms meet evolving business needs. The Enterprise Applications Manager will also oversee the administration of ServiceNow and ensure its continued alignment with IT and business workflows.
The salary range for this role $120,000 to $130,000 commensurate with experience and skills
What You Will Do
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application administrators, engineers, and analysts, with a focus on ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for team members and conduct regular performance reviews
Platform Ownership & Technical Oversight
- Serve as the owner of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability, optimization, and alignment with business needs
- Oversee the administration and lifecycle of enterprise SaaS applications including Box, Slack, Zoom, Zoom Phone, and others, with a strong focus on integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Oversee application implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption and successful change management
- Ensure documentation, knowledge bases, and internal processes are current and well-maintained
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and policy adherence related to application use and administration
Strategy & Planning
- Develop multi-year roadmaps and strategies for enterprise application platforms, aligning with organizational goals and technology modernization efforts
- Lead business case development and ROI analysis for new initiatives and application investments
- Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and user experience
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for enterprise application support and delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure proper governance, compliance, and identity management across platforms
- Partner with the PMO and business units to define project scope, requirements, and timelines
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage relationships with key vendors and Customer Success Managers (CSMs), ensuring strong support, performance, and contract alignment
- Serve as the escalation point for vendor-related issues and contract negotiations in partnership with procurement and legal teams
What You Will Need
- 6+ years of experience in enterprise application management
- 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role
- Proven experience managing ServiceNow as a platform owner or lead
- Strong understanding of SaaS administration in a Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD environment
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Box Drive, Slack, Zoom, and Zoom Phone
- Demonstrated success in building and managing technical teams
- Experience in vendor management and contract oversight
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification or similar
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, and CSDM concepts within ServiceNow
- Background in supporting enterprise initiatives such as Zero Trust, automation, or user provisioning workflows
