About this role
We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join our team. In this role, your time will be split 35%/65% between individual contributor (IC) and people management obligations.
IC Component
You will own the business relationship and analytics throughout for one of our business lines, dealing with data about our financial, earnings or travel products fueled by the membership program and transactional user behaviour. We are looking for someone with 3 or more years of experience as an Analytics or Data Science individual contributor who can autonomously address problems and share actionable recommendations that help grow our business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of experimentation, trend analysis, and causal inference. You should be highly knowledgeable in SQL and Python, comfortable completing peer reviews, and familiar with our techstack or similar tools & services: dbt, Secoda, Looker, Snowflake and Amplitude.
People Management Component
The Data Analytics Manager will guide an experienced and knowledgeable team of data analysts & scientists. You will provide technical mentorship, managerial support in the form of time-off requests and career development planning, and strategic guidance to your team. Ideally, you have previously worked on-the-job in a management role.
What you’ll be working on:
- Analytical: you will be an ambassador for our data-driven and truth seeking culture, taking data and using it to answer business questions and drive strategy and results
- Team Management: you will embody our values of open, transparent and respectful, and motivate your team to grow their technical and business sense
- Visualizations: you will help explain our data in a way that makes sense, evaluating the need and delegating the development of automated dashboards and reports
- Presentations: you will present insightful findings and share data-driven recommendations that help us make informed decisions
- Hard Questions: you do not shy away from complexity; as such, you take the time to understand problems, their business implications, and provide solutions that meet the need
Who we’re looking for:
- 3+ years as a Data Analyst or Scientist.
- Previous working experience as a People Manager
- Expert level SQL and highly proficient with Python for data science
- Experience modelling and analyzing a high volume of relational and unstructured data
- Aligned with hyper-growth and fast-paced culture at Super.com
- Great communication across multiple teams and stakeholders, and able to steer multiple important priorities
- Bias to action to dive into the data to find a solution to business problems without direct guidance
- Enjoyment from working on a team of driven individuals with varying specialities (product, ops, data, engineering) to achieve a common goal
- Strong data modeling skills and ETL knowledge
- Confidence with peer coding reviews in Git and enjoyment from providing technical mentorship
- Strong curiosity and a keen interest in continued learning and teaching
- Interest in predominately working with remote peers
We’ve got you covered
- We are remote first: You have the flexibility to work from around the world and the hours that make sense for you– so that you can do your best work while living life on your own terms
- Other perks include: unlimited PTO, recharge days, travel discounts on Travel, Weekly UberEats credit, annual company offsites
- We welcome new family additions with generous parental leave and a flexible return-to-work plan
- Competitive salary packages, equity options, great benefits from day one, wellness budgets, as well as personal and team-level development budgets
- This is just scratching the surface– see our careers site for a more detailed overview of our perks & benefits

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.
Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech
- Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
