The Manager, Collegiate Marketing is responsible for executing the student marketing strategies for the US. This person will contribute to the planning and execution of US-wide projects, driving brand awareness and relevance amongst our core target audience and the future consumer on/around campus. This role leverages insights and creates the most effective programming for the US-consumer, working closely with the Global HQ team. In addition, this person will project manage collegiate activations, focused on building unique value to the US consumer and scale across the US. This role is a key member of the Marketing team and must possess a strong cross-functional ability to bring the full marketing mix to life in the collegiate space across the US including sport, culture, communications, and the Red Bull Media Network. This person is also responsible for acting as a partner to the Region teams, ensuring quality execution and innovation across all activations.

Job Description

COLLEGIATE PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Lead the project management of collegiate marketing activations and Global Brand Projects each year, confirmed in the business plan

Define and oversee the collegiate project principles, from project ideation to post-mortem, ensuring successful kick-offs, premium execution and that key success measurements are understood and achieved

Evaluate emerging and relevant entry-point consumer trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for the Region teams to reach consumers in new ways and via new channels

Develop and communicate key standards for success to drive impact with our entry-point consumer, enforcing consistency through each project plan

Be an expert on the collegiate EPC consumer, working closely with cross-functional counterparts to define opportunities with this audience

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

Collaborate across departments to build value and scale in all collegiate projects and programs

Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the interests of Red Bull collegiate marketing are met; Identify other departmental projects and properties (athlete, event, sales, shopper marketing) that have collegiate implications (i.e. NCAA sports, Off to College Shopper focuses)

Manage National initiatives and build trust with regional leadership to secure buy-in of Santa Monica strategy & tactics through year

Drive collaboration between Consumer Collecting, Region teams & Santa Monica stakeholders

Align with Brand Marketing Region teams on KPIs per projects, with clear goals identified at the inception of the project

Identify and manage external agencies or production partners that extend the reach, visibility, and relevance of our collegiate events and activations

CONSISTENCY AND QUALITY EXECUTION

Consistent and effective guidance to the Region field teams to drive quality execution and premium output

Partner with the region teams to provide coaching on the execution of national collegiate initiatives

Develop communication tools & activation assets per BP plans to reinforce and enable quality execution

Partner with the Global Student and Field Marketing team and Sr. Director, Consumer Collecting to outline standards for the US

Share best practices with the US Business Units and Global Student and Field Marketing team

Conduct market visits to gain Region field execution insight and provide guidance, coaching

Create and manage monthly national KPI Collegiate dashboard, showcasing and tracking success

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Directly manage and develop the Specialist, Collegiate Marketing, providing clear priorities, coaching, and ongoing feedback to ensure strong execution, professional growth, and alignment with national collegiate objectives

Set goals, success metrics, and development plans for the Specialist, ensuring accountability across project delivery, stakeholder management, and quality of execution

Guide workload planning and escalation, supporting the Specialist in navigating cross‑functional partners and Regional teams to deliver projects on time, on brand, and at scale

Qualifications

3+ years marketing experience 

Experience leading cross-functional teams, including project management (planning & prioritization)

Experience leveraging consumer insights and translating learning into action 

Proven ability to navigate through a highly matrixed organization 

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation

Creative mind with an attention to detail but also the ability to see the big picture 

Sound strategic thinking capabilities

Self-starter, Entrepreneurial

Bachelor’s Degree required

Fluent in English, additional languages an advantage

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,360 - 128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
