OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation

Under the FOX banner, we produce and distribute content through some of the world’s leading and most valued brands, including: FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content, while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise and strategic thinking.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The FOX direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform is a new, forward-looking initiative within Tubi Media Group that brings FOX’s unparalleled content portfolio—news, sports, and entertainment—directly to consumers via an innovative subscription streaming service.

Driven by a highly experienced leadership team with extensive backgrounds at the intersections of media, technology, streaming, and content—and built with the full support of Fox Corporation—this venture combines entrepreneurial energy with deep media expertise.

Our vision is to create a unified, modern viewing experience that puts the consumer first—seamlessly integrating live and on-demand content across platforms.

At the intersection of cutting-edge technology and trusted storytelling, this is an opportunity to shape the future of streaming at one of the most pivotal moments in media. We’re assembling a world-class team to deliver on that vision—and we’re just getting started.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager, Business Strategy and Growth will play a key role in shaping and accelerating the growth of FOX’s direct-to-consumer platform. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and cross-functional delivery.

In this role, you will partner closely with teams across product, marketing, content, finance, analytics, and operations to identify growth opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate strategic priorities into action. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where impact is driven through execution.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and drive overall subscriber growth for FOX’s direct-to-consumer platform, with a strong focus on funnel optimization across acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention

  • Develop, test, and execute pricing, packaging, bundling, and other organic growth initiatives to improve subscriber performance and long-term value

  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across product, marketing, content, analytics, finance, and operations to align on growth priorities and ensure effective execution of initiatives

  • Leverage data, experimentation, and performance insights to identify opportunities, assess impact, and inform growth-related decision-making

  • Support the development of long-range strategic plans for FOX direct-to-consumer businesses, including evaluating new opportunities and key growth levers

  • Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Experience supporting business strategy, growth, or operational initiatives within a direct-to-consumer, subscription, or digital media environment

  • Strong execution mindset, with the ability to translate strategy into action and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Exposure to subscriber growth levers across acquisition, conversion, and retention, including pricing, packaging, or lifecycle optimization efforts

  • Comfort working with data and performance metrics to evaluate outcomes, identify opportunities, and inform recommendations

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with partners in areas such as product, marketing, analytics, finance, or operations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize insights and contribute effectively to stakeholder discussions

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may shift

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience supporting stakeholder management, operations, or project leadership within a matrixed organization

  • Exposure to managing both technical and non-technical initiatives, partnering effectively with product, engineering, and business teams

  • Familiarity with the streaming, OTT, or direct-to-consumer subscription space

  • Working knowledge of customer experience principles, subscription lifecycle marketing, and subscriber funnel optimization

  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
