Manager, Business Operations

DIRECTV is seeking a Manager of Business Operations to support the VP in overseeing day-to-day business operations, including event planning, trade show coordination, team communications, budgeting, and speaking engagement logistics. The Manager operates as a seasoned professional with the ability to independently lead projects and manage multiple workstreams while collaborating cross-functionally to identify process improvements and drive revenue growth within the transportation vertical.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Provide event, speaking engagement, and operations management support to VP.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the organization.
• Analyze trends and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while executing operational plans and managing projects or programs within specific areas of the organization.
• Communicate and present complex information to a variety of audiences both verbally and in writing.

Skills & Experience

• Seasoned professional with full understanding of business operations who can resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and develop project plans with staffing considerations to ensure timely completion.
• Shows competency in identifying and proactively addressing staffing or talent issues.

May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

This role requires a minimum but is not limited to approximately 30-40% travel.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the contiguous United States. #LI-Remote

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $83,391 - $151,421

Low (N1): $83,391 - $125,087

Mid (N2): $87,780 - $131,670

High (N3): $96,558 - $144,837

Top (N4): $100,947 - $151,421
