Manager of Business Operations

Our Business Operations team is the backbone of operational success within the company, ensuring our commercial teams have the technology and processes needed to succeed. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Business Operations to lead our talented team of business systems professionals.

As a Manager of Business Operations, you will be responsible for the architecture, administration, and optimization of our entire business systems technology stack. The ideal candidate is a hands-on "player-coach" who is passionate about building scalable processes, developing talent, and driving business efficiency through technology.

You will own the roadmap for systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Workato, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Client Care teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, proven project management skills, and a track record of leading teams through growth and change, including M&A integrations.

• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of business system technicians and professionals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, and be a keen developer of talent.
• Systems Strategy & Ownership: Own the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day administration of our business systems technology stack, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Workato, Vitally, DocuSign, Conga, and other integrated applications.
• Hands-On Contribution: At times, act as a "player-coach" by actively participating in technical configuration, troubleshooting, system administration, and project execution alongside your team.
• Project Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of business systems projects of all sizes, from discovery to launch. Utilize both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to ensure timely and successful delivery that meets business objectives.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Client Care) to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions with tact and diplomacy.
• Acquisition Integration: Spearhead the integration of business systems for new company acquisitions, developing and executing a playbook for smooth data migration, process alignment, and user transition.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage relationships, contracts, performance, and work quality for external business systems contractors and technology vendors.
• Operational Excellence: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, providing clear direction to your team and stakeholders while comfortably navigating ambiguity.

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience managing and administering business tech stacks that include Salesforce.
• A minimum of 1 year of direct people management experience.
• Proven experience leading a business systems or RevOps systems team within a technology oriented company.
• Active Salesforce Administrator certification (or higher, e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder).
• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading acquisition-related system integrations.
• Proficiency in both Agile (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall project management frameworks.
• Experience managing contracts and relationships with third-party contractors and vendors.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

• Hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC).
• Moderately advanced SQL skills for data analysis and integration troubleshooting.
• Direct experience with key tools in our stack, such as Workato, HubSpot, or Conga.
