Tickets.com is looking for a Manager of Accounting to drive excellence on our Corporate Accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a skilled team of accountants, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring they are precise and compliant with GAAP.Identify and implement process improvements that boost efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to guide strategic planning and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years experience in a corporate accounting environment and mid-range automated financial systems, experience with Oracle beneficial
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience with payroll, cash management, taxes, and labor/expense capitalization.
- Experience with annual accounting audits
- Experience with accounting in a multiple-entity company and transfer pricing a plus.
- Above average skills using Microsoft Office software, including Excel and AccessExperience with a software development company a plus
- Must be willing and able to work independently on assigned projects
- Strong initiative with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, including prioritization and follow-through
- Good oral and written communication skills
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000.
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related aspects of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
