Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for full cycle accounting oversight and transaction level support, ownership of GL coding, operational ownership of the month ends close processes, and support on monthly reporting, accounts reconciliations, and year-end audit. This is a hands-on role, responsible for the accounting and reporting of portfolio of divisions within Corporate North America Group and working with other accounting professionals within the Corporate Accounting Team.
The Manager will act as a financial liaison between divisional accountants, Controller Corporate North America and other Corporate Departments. This role supervises 3-4 divisional accountants.

Your Responsibilities
Compliance & Controls:
- Maintain and execute consistent accounting policies, controls, and procedures, adhering to Company-wide policies and procedures.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the Month/Quarter/Year End Close process, reporting, and accounts reconciliations in a timely manner with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Review journal entries, monitor and control GL coding accuracy.
- Analyze and reconcile all balance sheet and key income statement accounts.
- Assist in the data loads to OS for actual or forecast/budgets-when needed
- Trial balance review of the assigned portfolio
- Ensure integrity of financial system, general ledger, and sub ledgers
Process Improvement:
- Review, document and identify areas of improvement for transaction level processing within the department.
- Perform and oversee the monthly complex GL postings and reconciliations to ensure accuracy on financial reporting and to identify and correct any unusual items.
Areas of Complex Accounting:
- Assist in preparing entries and maintain the schedules for the group's investments and financing operations such as external investments, bonds, senior notes and related revaluations/adjustments
- Manage the accounting for business reorg memos for the Group Corp NA
- Assist in all tasks and ad hoc projects when needed
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare month end binder for reporting entities assigned
- Prepare and maintain OneStream template files/models to facilitate reporting
Who we are looking for
- CA/CPA designation and a degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Experience with full cycle accounting/reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERPs, SAP S4Hanna, HFM or One Stream would be highly preferred.
