Job Summary: Yami Strategic Supply solutions team is seeking an Account Management Manager to lead our Account Management team. As the Account Management Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with our third-party marketplace key accounts. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the success and satisfaction of customers/sellers. The ideal candidate will possess strong account management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a dedication to driving business growth. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key accounts, serving as their primary point of contact and addressing their needs promptly. 

  • Identify opportunities for new sellers and account expansion, and upselling while ensuring compliance with updated regulations for local and overseas sellers.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to unlock merchants' growth potential and scale Yami’s third-party business by:

    • Identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities within existing accounts

    • Expanding the number of sellers (seller base) and maximizing their potential to enhance marketplace reach and diversity

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide integrated solutions and meet client-specific and operational efficiency needs effectively.

  • Proactively manage contract renewals and promptly address any regulatory issues to maintain strong client relationships and maximize account retention.

  • Lead by example in guiding, mentoring, and fortifying the Account Management team to navigate business challenges with flexibility. Cultivate an environment marked by excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • 5+ years’ experience in account management and 3PL,  preferably in Asian e-commerce retail industries.

  • Excellent English and Chinese Mandarin communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and to negotiate.

  • Passion and knowledge of Asian CPG products and brands.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

This role focuses on e-commerce marketplace account management, helping third-party sellers grow their business on the Yami platform. It is not an advertising or digital marketing account management role.
