Job Summary: The Main Office Receptionist is responsible for the professional and efficient managing of visitors, customers, telephone calls and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support the operation and presentation of a professional office. This position will complete various special projects on top of daily duties and will be expected to complete all tasks in a timely manner. 

Essential Duties:  When on duty, ensure the desk located near the board room and safe deposit is covered during business hours. Ensure that those in the work area are there for appropriate business.  Answer and direct phone calls appropriately. Receive and log all deliveries. Complete special projects assigned by the deadline given. Report any suspicious activity. Organize, package, and distribute outgoing and incoming mail. This is to include US Mail, Interoffice mail, and express mail. Organize and maintain the Boardroom. Safe Deposit services. Delivery and pickup of US Mail to the local post office. Support branch staff as requested. Other duties as requested by Management. rganize, stock, and replenish supplies of the employee lunch/breakroom.

Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements. This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department. Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.

Basic Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic mathematics skills. Ability to actively listen & learn. Ability to respectfully communicate with management and co-workers. Ability and desire to foster and interact in a team environment, and willingness to contribute to team efforts. 

Officer Title Eligibility For qualified positions, the Bank may designate Officer Titles to employees who meet defined competencies for an eligible position. This position is not eligible for an Officer Title. 

Equipment Operated:  Desk Top Computers, Standard Office Equipment (copiers, fax machines, telephones).

Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Requires sitting for prolong periods of time. Requires lifting of 25 lbs.Office setting w/controlled temperature.

Education and Experience:  High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Preferred candidate must have one year of clerical experience.
