As an M&A Transaction Manager – Human Capital Strategy and Diligence, you’ll play a key role in evaluating workforce-related risks and opportunities during M&A transactions. You’ll help align people’s strategy with deal value, ensuring smooth transitions and long-term success for both employees and the business.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct HR due diligence, including compensation, benefits, labor relations, and compliance.
  • Evaluate organizational structures, talent models, and workforce planning strategies.
  • Assess cultural alignment and readiness for change management.
  • Develop HR integration strategies and post-close action plans.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and business leaders on workforce-related risks.
  • Analyze HR technologies and recommend harmonization processes.
  • Prepare executive-level reports summarizing key human capital findings.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed based on project scope.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (MBA or MS in HR preferred).
  • 5+ years in HR consulting, human capital M&A, or organizational design.
  • Strong understanding of compensation, benefits, HR compliance, and labor dynamics.
  • Experience with BPO workforce models and global HR operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with the full M&A lifecycle and post-merger integration.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
