Provides engaging climbing experiences for guests of all ages, leads parties, explains gym products and offerings, instructs participants on climbing equipment and safety, manages risk, conducts orientations, and assists the front desk. The role requires strong customer service, climbing knowledge, comfort working with children, coaching ability, and availability for at least two shifts weekly, including one weekend day, from June 15 through August 23.

$18.50 - $19.50
Overview:
A Sender City Specialist is someone who is passionate to share climbing with guests of all ages through Sender City’s interactive climbing center.
Responsibilities:
- Create memorable experiences and build connections by providing excellent customer service to all guests;
- Host a fun and engaging party as the Party Lead by assisting the Party Hosts and their guests;
- Provide information and product knowledge of Pro Shop products and gym offerings;
- Build confidence and provide reassurance for our Sender City guests when climbing;
- Educate and manage the inherent risks involved in climbing with all Sender City participants and guests including, but not limited to, the use of climbing gear (harness and helmet), the autobelay system, and climbing apparatuses;
- Ensure all Sender City participants and guests watch the video orientation in the briefing room and provide guidance navigating Sender City throughout their session;
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30lbs;
- Assist the Customer Experience team at the front desk, if needed;
- Take initiative to help the team progress to our shared purpose - discover ourselves and connect with others through climbing.

Industry Experience:
- First Aid/CPR certified;
- Top rope climbing experience preferred;
- Experience working with kids;
- Knowledge of Google Suite – Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.;
- Knowledge of Rock Gym Pro software;
- Knowledge of Basecamp;
- Experience coaching and instructing.
Time Commitment:
- Must be fully available to work at least one weekend day per work week (Sun - Sat);
- Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours or 2 shifts per work week (Sun - Sat);
- Must be available at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the first Sender City session and at least 30 minutes after the last Sender City session on the days available to work.
