Job Summary
The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Paralegal to join a tight-knit and collegial legal department. This a unique and exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, creative, service oriented, and continual learner professional who thinks space is cool. The Aerospace Corporation is an independent, non-profit corporation operating the only FFRDC for the space enterprise, supporting a variety of government, civil, and commercial customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide administrative, research, and transactional support for the Aerospace Corporation’s in-house Legal Department.
- Organize and track projects and schedules; prepare, edit, and collaborate on documents and agreements related to litigation, transactional, regulatory, real estate matters, and other legal department projects
- Create and implement legal tools and process improvements
- Conduct research and support other legal department projects as assigned
- Oversee and perform various administrative and attorney-support duties, including preparing presentation materials, scheduling meetings and conferences, and interfacing with internal clients and external parties
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program and certification of completion of state bar association approved paralegal program
- 3-5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with at least one year in government contracting, privacy, cyber security, real estate, transactional, internal investigations or litigation matters
- Experience with matter management, digitized systems
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to interface with internal clients including at an executive level, outside counsel, and representatives of U.S. Government agencies
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

$70,861 - $92,184 - $113,506
