Compliance Manager

• Provide leadership with respect to new vendor onboarding, vendor management (including via OneTrust), conduct regular vendor security audits, and assist with other protocols in coordination with Legal, Privacy, Security, and Project Management teams
• Oversee the implementation of Grindr’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Anti-Corruption Policy; Export Controls and Sanctions Compliance Policy
• Assist Security team with its monitoring and enhancing of Grindr’s Security Policy
• Support Grindr’s in-house search warrant, subpoena, and other legal document request response team
• Support oversight with respect to company policies and practices, including document retention and litigation holds
• Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms, legal research, and related litigation document management experience a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly and distill complex materials into actionable procedures
• Experience managing expectations, negotiating compromises, and interfacing between a technical team and business partners.
• This team member will bring
• Excellent project management skills (preferably with JIRA and Confluence chops)
• Great attention to detail, a sense of ownership, and a strong work ethic
• The ideal candidate has:
• 5+ years of experience working in compliance within a corporate setting
• General familiarity with global privacy laws and regulations, such as the GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD
• Experience analyzing contract provisions under supervision of Legal team
• Experience in tech, especially within application development/mobile
• Experience with OneTrust
• Strong understanding of search warrant, subpoena, legal document request analysis and response protocols
