We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Irvine office is looking for a Legal Support Specialist to join our growing team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will provide overall administrative-level support to the practice group in support of unlawful detainer cases filed.

Compensation: $23-$28/hour DOE + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall administrative-level support to the practice group
- Contact clients via phone and email to obtain missing documents
- Perform e-filing in support of unlawful detainer cases
- Draft notices, letters, and stipulations for unlawful detainer cases
- Make calls to court for processing of trial matters
- Request trial dates and prepare files for trial
- Review leases, legal forms, and correspondence for detail-oriented, specific information
- Communicate with clients to obtain missing information and follow up on the status of cases
- Assist with case intake by performing data entry with a high level of accuracy
- Sort and distribute mail, and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Previous administrative office experience in a high-volume environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Professional communication skills via telephone and email
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Typing speed of 65+ wpm and versatile computer skills
- Must provide writing samples showcasing writing style
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent training/experience
- Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment
- ProLaw experience
Schedule:
Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.
We currently offer a hybrid work model for select positions within the Firm. New hire employees who are offered a hybrid schedule will complete their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a hybrid schedule, subject to approval by their supervisor.
