Job Description:

Job Summary

The Legal Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, staffing, and onboarding attorneys and legal professionals for document review and other legal services engagements across the United States. This role partners with Recruiting Leadership, Review Management, Operations, and Human Resources teams to deliver qualified talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience and meeting project staffing timelines.

This is requiring regular availability during standard U.S. business hours and the flexibility to support hiring activities across multiple U.S. time zones.


Key Responsibilities

·       Partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand hiring needs, staffing priorities, and project requirements.

·       Build and maintain talent pipelines of attorneys, legal professionals, and project-based talent.

·       Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media platforms, and direct outreach.

·       Screen and assess candidates to evaluate qualifications, experience, availability, and suitability for open positions.

·       Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

·       Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process and ensure a positive candidate experience.

·       Support offer-related activities and guide candidates through the hiring process.

·       Coordinate onboarding activities and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful transitions into assigned projects.

·       Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment metrics, and hiring activity within the Applicant Tracking System.

·       Provide regular updates on pipeline health, hiring progress, and staffing forecasts.

·       Participate in talent attraction initiatives, networking events, and recruitment marketing activities.

·       Contribute to recruitment process improvements and operational efficiencies.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

·       Manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Qualifications & Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Legal Studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, human resources, or a related field.

· Experience in recruiting legal professionals is highly advantageous.

·       Experience managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.

·       Required to work during standard U.S. business hours.

·       Flexibility to support recruiting activities across multiple U.S. time zones.

·       Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technologies.

·       Experience recruiting attorneys, legal professionals, document review teams, or project-based workforces is Preferred

·       Experience supporting legal services, professional services, consulting, or corporate hiring functions is Preferred.

·       Experience supporting U.S.-based recruiting initiatives is Preferred

·       Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, workforce planning, candidate sourcing, talent mapping, candidate screening, and interview coordination.

·       Strong ability to partner with hiring managers and business stakeholders, build professional networks and talent pipelines, support recruitment marketing initiatives, maintain accurate recruiting data and reporting, and drive process improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.

·       Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, LinkedIn Recruiter Certification, AIRS Recruiting Certification, or other recognized Talent Acquisition and Human Resources certifications.

·       Ability to work effectively in a remote or office environment and perform tasks requiring extended computer use, virtual communication, and use of standard office technology.

  • Your abilities in relation to the job specification

  • Performance during screening and interview

  • Pay parity with the wider team in the considered location
