Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience

About the Position

Zacks, Freedman & Chernev, PC is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Legal Receptionist & Client Services Coordinator for our San Francisco office.

You will serve as the first point of contact for clients, prospective clients, attorneys, vendors, and other visitors. You will manage incoming calls, support the firm’s client-intake process, and help keep daily office operations organized.

This position suits someone who communicates professionally, exercises sound judgment, and stays organized while managing frequent calls, visitors, and competing priorities.

What You Will Do

  • Greet clients, visitors, and vendors and provide a professional office experience.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls promptly and accurately.
  • Gather preliminary information from prospective clients using established intake procedures.
  • Record and distribute complete, accurate, and time-sensitive messages.
  • Prepare and reset conference rooms for client meetings and firm events.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, deliveries, and legal documents.
  • Scan, file, and organize electronic and physical records.
  • Enter expenses and other information into the firm’s practice-management system.
  • Monitor office and kitchen supplies and coordinate replenishment.
  • Provide administrative support for attorneys and staff as needed.
  • Protect confidential client, employee, and firm information.

Requirements

  

Preferred

  • Experience in a law firm, professional-services firm, or other client-focused office.
  • Experience answering a multi-line telephone system.
  • Experience with client intake, data entry, or practice-management software.

Legal experience is helpful, but we encourage applicants with transferable experience in professional services, hospitality, healthcare, property management, or another client-facing environment to apply.
