We seek candidates with a hands-on customer-first approach, robust interpersonal and communication skills, strong work ethic and excellent time management. While teamwork is expected, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

About the role

As Redesign continues to scale domestically and internationally, we are adding a Legal Operations Coordinator to our legal team to support the growing volume of customer and vendor engagements. This role manages customer and vendor onboarding, coordinates export compliance for international hardware shipments, and handles first-pass review and negotiation of NDAs and Statements of Work. You will work closely with Corporate Counsel, Sales, Finance, and Engineering to maintain consistency across Redesign's intake and contracting workflows as the business grows. • Coordinate with Finance on credit terms and payment timelines ahead of order fulfillment
  • Run Redesign's deal intake checklist, flagging non-standard liability terms, jurisdictional requirements, government/SLED compliance obligations, or engagements
  • Set expectations with customers and internal stakeholders on onboarding timelines, documentation requirements, and delivery prerequisites
  • Support the vendor onboarding governance process, ensuring new OEM and partner relationships follow Redesign's internal approval workflow
  • Conduct initial review of partner and vendor agreements, flagging non-standard terms for Corporate Counsel
  • Maintain the partner agreement tracker across OEM and distributor relationships

Export Compliance & International Shipping

  • Coordinate export compliance for international hardware shipments following Redesign's established shipping guide and logistics partner workflows
  • Verify ECCN classifications with OEM compliance teams, conduct restricted party screening, and gather required end-use certifications
  • Track country-specific import documentation requirements and manage ATA Carnet records for temporary equipment exports
  • Escalate shipments requiring BIS export or re-export licenses to Corporate Counsel

Contract Review & Negotiation (NDAs and SOWs)

  • Review, redline, and negotiate NDAs and Statements of Work
  • Manage the lifecycle of NDAs and SOWs from intake through execution, including amendments and renewals
  • Track expiration dates, renewal windows, and amendment requests
  • Confirm signed SOWs are in place before delivery activity begins
  • Escalate non-standard terms or positions outside playbook authority to Corporate Counsel
  • Maintain accurate contract records in the contract repository

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent onboarding and contract processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Direct experience at a VAR or IT solutions provider in the Dell, Arrow, or TD Synnex ecosystem
  • Exposure to EAR/ITAR export compliance, ECCN classifications, or international hardware logistics

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
