Assist with legal research on various topics relevant to the company’s operations and compliance.
Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
Support the preparation and maintenance of legal documentation and databases.
Assist in responding to legal inquiries and requests for documentation.
Conduct due diligence and gather information on legal matters.
Attend meetings and take detailed notes for legal proceedings and discussions.
Collaborate with team members on special projects related to the legal function.
Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and legal trends that may impact the organization.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Juris Doctor (JD) program or a law-related degree.
Understanding of legal principles and practices, particularly in corporate law or education law.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
Demonstrated interest in educational technology or the K-12 education sector is a plus.
