As Counsel (U.S.) at Telnyx, you will collaborate with the legal team and management to support our global operations and help drive efficiency across diverse squads - growth, vendor relations, recruiting, regulatory, and more. With operations in the United States, Europe, and Asia, this role has a strong international dimension.

ResponsibilitiesLegal Operations & Processes- Support a wide range of contract, compliance, and operational needs across the business.
- Develop, refine, and document legal processes, including subpoena responses, compliance protocols, and knowledge management.
- Evaluate and implement legal technology platforms - including AI-driven solutions—for contract review, workflow automation, and compliance monitoring.
- Work directly with teams across the company to remove legal blockers and keep projects moving forward.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and internal stakeholders, translating legal concepts into practical guidance.
- Support global initiatives with sensitivity to jurisdictional differences, often in partnership with outside counsel.
- Participate in investor, lender, customer, and vendor interactions, serving as a professional representative of Telnyx while protecting company interests.
- Collaborate with the General Counsel to craft compliance strategies that keep Telnyx both nimble and aligned with global requirements.
- Monitor evolving regulatory frameworks, with a focus on using AI and technology to stay ahead of changes.
- Develop internal policies (e.g., retention, security, privacy) that reflect both legal obligations and business priorities.
- 0–3 years of experience as an attorney (transactional or generalist backgrounds welcome).
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active state bar license in the United States.
- Located in the continental U.S. (Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones) to align with team operations.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in technology, AI-driven legal tools, and workflow automation.
- Excited to leverage technology to make legal operations more efficient.
- Comfortable learning and applying new tools, particularly AI-enabled platforms.
- Pragmatic problem-solver with strong communication skills.
- Curious, adaptable, and eager to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Broad legal foundation with the flexibility to take on new subject matter quickly.
