Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.

Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.

We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and collaborative Learning & Development Coordinator to help scale Oura’s learning ecosystem. In this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of our LMS, develop useful learning and compliance reporting, uphold standards for learning content, and help maintain L&D’s AI-enabled learning tools. You’ll partner with employees, subject-matter experts, vendors, and cross-functional teams to keep learning experiences accurate, accessible, and well organized.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage the learning platform (30%) Administer Sana@ŌURA, including user access, enrollments, assignment rules, course publishing and archiving, permissions, troubleshooting, and routine audits. Coordinate with the platform vendor and help improve how employees find and use learning resources.
  • Build/maintain reporting that supports decisions (10%) Maintain dashboards and tracking for learning programs and compliance training. Respond to data requests, identify patterns or gaps, and make information available proactively to L&D and relevant partners.
  • Steward AI-enabled learning workflows (5%) Monitor L&D’s learning agents and other AI-supported experiences for accuracy and usefulness. Investigate issues, correct or escalate errors, keep source content current, and recommend improvements. Help assess when automation is appropriate and when a human review or response is needed.
  • Support learning content quality and governance (15%) Apply established standards for metadata, accessibility, formatting, version control, and publication. Support subject-matter experts and content owners, coordinate content reviews, intake calls and maintain the content audit cycle.
  • Coordinate programs and learning operations (20%) Support program calendars, learning resource repositories, onboarding and manager-development logistics, vendor and contractor coordination, and the operational details that help programs run smoothly.
  • Grow into instructional design and development (10%) Initially, edit, format, and publish learning materials using existing templates and standards. Over time, take on defined content and module builds and contribute to the design and delivery of learning experiences.
  • Collaborate across teams (10%) Build productive working relationships with L&D colleagues, HR partners, IT and AI teams, vendors, and internal content owners to resolve issues and improve the employee learning experience.

This is a remote role based in the US.

What you'll bring
  • 2+ years of experience supporting learning and development, learning operations, an LMS, or a related employee-facing program.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing content, assignments, data, and recurring processes.
  • Comfort learning and administering digital systems; able to troubleshoot routine issues and document clear processes.
  • Working ability with spreadsheets and reporting tools, including organizing data and turning it into clear, useful updates.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to support employees and partner effectively with subject-matter experts and vendors.
  • Sound judgment with sensitive or compliance-related information; knows when to verify, escalate, or involve a subject-matter expert.
  • Curiosity about and experience with AI and automation, along with a careful approach to checking outputs for accuracy and usefulness.
  • A practical, service-oriented mindset and the ability to manage recurring work across global regions while adapting to changing priorities.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Sana or another learning management system.
  • Experience supporting learning content development, instructional design, accessibility reviews, and content governance.
  • Experience maintaining dashboards, learning metrics, or compliance-training records.
  • Experience supporting AI tools, knowledge assistants, or automated workflows.
  • Experience working with a distributed or multi-region workforce.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
