Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Specialty Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., is seeking a Lead Specialty Software Engineer, as part of Wealth and Investment Management Technology. This position will cover jobs responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of specific modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products, which require knowledge in a niche area. In this role, you will lead complex initiatives on selected domains. Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk. Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost. Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies. Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature. Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers. Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
Amount and type of experience required: Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving specialty software engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
  • 5 years of experience with data masking, preferably with Delphix
  • 5 years of experience with databases, preferably Oracle Exadata grid
  • 5 years of Linux or Unix Server experience
  • 5 years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or Pl-SQL
  • 5 years of experience in designing and building software frameworks for banking and financial services products.
  • 5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data management and Data Governance
  • 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring large teams as a solution architect and managing teams across geographies.
