Summary:

In this role, the Lead Project Manager drives successful project outcomes, mentors project managers, and fosters continuous improvement and organizational growth. With expertise in resource management, risk mitigation, and process improvement, you will streamline project workflows, advocate for PMO methodologies, and strengthen collaboration through technology and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple projects of various sizes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving project success through strategic leadership and operational excellence.
  • Optimize project management processes, champion PMO tools for collaboration and reporting, and drive continuous improvement through post-mortems and lessons learned.
  • Support demand management efforts by assessing project priorities based on business impact and assisting in balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Mentor and guide project managers, fostering a high-performance culture and strengthening project execution capabilities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Track key performance metrics and provide transparent updates to leadership.

 Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred in business, Healthcare Administration Operations Management, or related field..
  • 7 or more years’ relevant experience in project management, business operations, or related roles required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Experience with financial planning, resource management, and portfolio prioritization. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, deliver results under tight deadlines and mentor colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Adaptability and openness to change. 
  • Willingness to travel. 
     

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
