We are looking for a Lead Product Manager, who enjoys building products that deliver disproportionate value to bench Scientists working for the largest and most advanced pharmaceutical companies in the world. This role sits at the intersection of science and data and combines an ability to deeply empathize with bench scientists, their needs, and their pain points, especially in the pre-clinical phase of new drug development.  As a Lead Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping our product strategy and execution. You will oversee high-impact product surface areas, driving both innovation and optimization. Your role involves strategic leadership, cross-functional team management, and deep analytical insights to inform and execute on product goals. You will be responsible for defining and managing comprehensive roadmaps, support shaping go-to-market strategies, and influencing broader business strategies.This is a challenging, impactful, and highly collaborative position. You will be responsible for defining the direction of the product surface area and its roadmap and will participate in a cross-functional team working together to realize our ambitious mission of decreasing 50% of the time it takes to develop a new drug and bring it to patients by 2025. 

You Will:

  • Contribute to and execute the strategic vision in key product areas that spread across our product portfolio, including further innovation and optimization of the existing features and functionality
  • Identify major product gaps, and work with the different product cross-functional teams to incorporate them into our product roadmap and execution plans
  • Proactively surface and resolving conflicts/bottlenecks
  • Independently execute across all areas of the product life cycle (research, concept, user stories, development, rollout, adoption, utilization, customer impact)
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional partners including scientists, developers, designers, UX researchers, project managers, and product managers across numerous product areas to ensure alignment
  • Partner with Product Leadership to foster the growth of other individual contributors on the product team, through inspiration and coaching. Help define, develop, and optimize best practices in Product Management, as well as serve as a mentor to PMs
  • Define, measure, and report key product metrics to demonstrate the value created by the teamAct as the voice of the customer, and ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development processes.

You Have:

  • 7+ years as a Senior Product Manager/Product Manager on SaaS enterprise life science products and/or data products or platforms with complex infrastructuresA PhD in biology (or a related field) and/or experience and knowledge of Biological Sciences (e.g., Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, etc.) or equivalent, would be a very strong asset in this role
  • A proven track record in bringing clarity to a complex domain and driving alignment between product  teams, and the rest of the companySuccessfully taken new features from conception through launch to adoption, engagement, and retention
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes over outputs
  • Strong problem-solving skills - can deal with ambiguity, lead discovery efforts, prioritize, and lead execution of objectives, ensuring they ladder up to key strategies
  • A data-informed decision-making process, can identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data
  • Experience working directly with highly technical team members

  • Educational background or work experience in a life sciences-related discipline
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience working at a startup
