  • Enhance consumer identity systems with features that business customers need to provide seamless, secure, and user-friendly experiences for their clients.
  • Launch features to targeted demographics while monitoring impact.

  • Lead cross-functional alignment for identity standards across multiple product teams, ensuring consistency and reliability throughout the Mindbody ecosystem.
  • Own end-to-end product initiatives—from user research and requirements through rollout planning, migration coordination, change management, and post-launch optimization.
  • Work closely with design and UX writing partners to deliver IAM flows with exceptional clarity, precision, and ease of use.
  • Communicate product strategy, risks, and tradeoffs at executive levels, building consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience & Skills
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Identity & Access Management, authentication systems, or security platforms.
  • Demonstrated success owning IAM for both enterprise (B2B) and consumer products.
  • Experience defining and implementing unified identity platforms across multiple SaaS applications, with strong architectural understanding of cross-product identity needs.
  • Proven track record leading major identity migrations, login-related transitions, and high-scale rollouts impacting thousands of organizations and millions of users.
  • Deep expertise in identity standards and technologies:

    • SAML SSO, OIDC SSO
    • MFA (TOTP, SMS, push, hardware keys)
    • Social sign-on (Google, Apple, Facebook, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience building or managing complex permissions and role-based access control (RBAC) for enterprise environments.
  • Experience designing and operating multi-user or family account structures on the consumer side.
  • Able to self-serve data for analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting using SQL without relying on engineering or analytics teams.
  • Strong understanding of how identity changes impact business operations, with demonstrated ability to execute identity improvements without breaking established workflows.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills - including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive leadership.
  • A data-driven approach with experience using metrics, experimentation, and user research to drive product decisions.

  • A user-first mindset that balances enterprise workflow stability with consumer-grade usability.
  • A security-first approach that does not compromise clarity or simplicity.
  • A systems-thinking perspective with the ability to architect identity solutions that scale across multiple products and business models.
  • A collaborative, thoughtful leadership style and passion for building elegant, secure, and resilient IAM foundations.
  • The ability to help staff users support their clients while maintaining security and privacy standards.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
