As a Lead Product Designer at Veeva, you'll set the design direction for one of our core Vault product areas and help shape how the design team works at its best. We're looking for a seasoned designer who combines strong craft with the judgment and presence to lead — someone who can define the vision for a feature, drive alignment across Product, Engineering, and Design, and raise the quality of the work around them.
This role goes beyond execution. You'll be the design authority in your product area, a thought partner to Product and Design leadership, and a meaningful contributor to how we grow and develop our design practice.
This is an incredible opportunity to design products that will impact millions of lives. Your work will be used by the largest global pharmaceutical and biotech companies to bring their medicine, treatments, and products to the doctors and patients who need them.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the design vision and strategy for your product area; drive alignment with Design, Engineering and Product Leadership
- Own the design of complex, high-impact features from early concept throught final delivery – executing at every stage of the lifecycle
- Set a high bar for craft, consistency, and user experience within your area; contribute shared design systems and patterns that scale across the product. Champion all.
- Mentor and develop other designers through critique, feedback, and pairing – making the team better through your presence and judgment
- Serve as the design voice in cross-functional planning, representing the team’s perspective and influencing product decisions upstream.
- Partner with Product Management to shape strategy and requirements, not just respond to them
- Own a point of view on how AI fits into the design workflow – actively piloting tools, sharing what works, and building team habits that make every designer faster and more capable
