The Lead Marketing Communications Manager will play a vital role in the successful management of DIRECTV’s Protection Plan and Tech Protect products. This role is key to delivering on the revenue targets for these products via the development and execution of the upgrade marketing strategy, management of all product-related consumer facing materials, optimization of sales channels, and the management of sales incentives with key sales partners. Additionally, this role will play a key part in the relationship management with the product vendors who support Protection Plan and Tech Protect.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute the upgrade marketing strategy to drive sales for DIRECTVs Protection Plan and Tech Protect, ensuring annual revenue targets are met/exceeded.
  • Partner across the enterprise to enable sales optimization for assigned products.
  • Manage customer facing collateral to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in messaging.
  • Develop and manage the sales incentive programs across the enterprise in support of delivering annual revenue targets.
  • Key liaison for external partners who support DIRECTV Protection Plan and Tech Protect.

Here's what you'll need:

  • 3 – 5 years of marketing experience required; experience in upgrade marketing or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred.
  • Experience with managing revenue targets via add-on products a plus, specifically extended guarantee products.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Proven track record of delivering results as a self-motivated, individual contributor.
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to develop and present strategic roadmaps and summaries.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

This position requires approximately, but not limited to, 10% travel, to attend 2 – 3 team meetings per year.

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. #LI-Remote

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $87,400 - $158,700

Low (N1): $87,400 - $131,100

Mid (N2): $92,000 - $138,000

High (N3): $101,200 - $151,800

Top (N4): $105,800 - $158,700
