The software development effort for the client's network switch encompasses the creation and maintenance of all embedded software/firmware necessary to support high-bandwidth Ethernet switching.
Requirements
Skills/Tech Environment
- Embedded Linux, Network Switch Services and Protocols (Layers 2, 3 & 4),
- Precision timing synchronization (PTP),
- Diagnostic - system monitor - test utilities (BIT),
- SNMP MIBs, DHCP Static Port Reservation,
- In Band Port Management
