About The Position | Major Goals and Objectives and Location Requirements:

As a Lead Digital Ad Operations Coordinator, you will be part of the Digital Ad Operations group responsible for launching all D/Cipher digital campaigns. This role ensures creative meets site specifications, manages production with vendor partners, generates and traffics ad tags, and resolves campaign execution issues.

You will communicate directly with internal sales representatives and clients and proactively make business decisions that impact successful campaign launches.

Hybrid 3x a week

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

About The Team | The Team and/or Brand:

D/Cipher is People Inc.’s in-house media platform and activation team, fueled by the rich user engagement data of People Inc., the nation’s largest publisher.  D/Cipher helps advertisers make informed media buying decisions on and off People Inc. content.  The Digital Ad Operations team is responsible for the execution, trafficking, and quality assurance of all digital advertising campaigns. The team works cross-functionally with sales teams, clients, creative agencies, and third-party vendors.

About The Position’s Contributions:

Weight % Accountabilities, Actions, and Expected Measurable Results

  • 40%: Facilitate communication, workflow, trafficking, and quality assurance of all assigned digital media campaigns.

  • 20%: Serve as a team resource and subject matter expert for campaign execution, assist with onboarding and training of new team members, and support process improvement initiatives across Digital Ad Operations.

  • 20%: Test and traffic creative through third-party ad servers such as Innovid, Flashtalking and CM360 and DSPs such as Amazon, Cadent and TTD.

  • 5%: Act as the first point of escalation for campaign execution and troubleshooting issues.

  • 5%: Pull quality assurance reports to confirm launch details and campaign accuracy.

  • 5%: Proactively communicate with clients and Sales Representatives to manage deadlines, assets, and revisions.

  • 5%: Support the Sales team with general creative and campaign-related questions.

All other duties as assigned.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent relevant work experience).

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of digital advertising operations experience, including campaign trafficking, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and client-facing communication.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Experience in digital advertising operations and campaign management.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, onboard new team members, and share best practices across the team.

  • Strong strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Advanced QA and debugging skills (tags, assets, delivery).

  • Experience with third-party ad servers such as Innovid, Flashtalking and CM360.

  • Experience trafficking within DSPs such as The Trade Desk, Amazon, etc. 

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and pixel/tag implementation for campaign setup, attribution and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with programmatic ecosystems.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong written, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.

  • Excellent time management and work ethic.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-starter who can adapt quickly.

Pay Range

Hourly: Connecticut: $30.00 - $36.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees.
