About the Role:

As the Lead Analyst of User Analytics & Insights within our New Markets (Expanded Core) vertical, you will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy through data. Reporting directly to the Director of User Analytics & Insights, you will serve as a thought partner to cross-functional leaders and drive high-impact decision-making. This role requires both technical expertise and strategic storytelling, with ownership of analytics processes that translate insights into actionable strategies that move the business forward.

This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.

Role Responsibilities: 

Analytical Leadership:

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to General Managers, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams, using insights to drive measurable business impact.
  • Lead analytics project management, setting priorities and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions always prioritize the customer experience.
  • Turn insights into action by designing initiatives, influencing roadmaps, and helping teams operationalize data-driven strategies.

Data Manipulation and Storytelling:

  • Leverage SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Hex, Grafana) to manipulate data and deliver accurate, meaningful analysis.
  • Build and maintain automated KPI dashboards and monitoring reports to track performance.
  • Partner with business and engineering teams to design and deploy analytical solutions.
  • Improve data quality and maintain scalable, well-documented analytics processes for long-term reusability.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear business narratives and recommended next steps that inspire action.

Experimentation and Predictive Modeling:

  • Own the end-to-end experimentation process, collaborating with product and marketing on test design and execution.
  • Develop predictive models to uncover user segmentation, identify behavioral insights, and proactively recommend actions that drive growth and engagement.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, insights, or strategy roles.
  • Expertise in data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data modeling 
  • Proven ability to translate insights into action by driving strategies, initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to influence change and impact business direction.
  • Skilled at analytics project management and prioritization.
  • Hands-on A/B testing and experimentation experience.
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling to identify trends, segment users, and guide strategy.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Comfort using Google Sheets for collaboration and analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with dbt data modeling
  • Prior experience blending commercial strategy with data insights.
  • Experience working with retail analytics 

Compensation:
