About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Resolution Specialist for its Credit Resolution Group. This role is responsible for leading the evaluation and resolution of a high-risk, large-scale portfolio of criticized and classified credits and products within Equipment and Vendor Finance. The Lead Credit Resolution Specialist will leverage expertise to develop forward-looking solutions that balance risk, recovery, and business objectives. The position requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with responsibility for influencing decisions among multiple stakeholders while navigating complex financial, legal, and operational considerations. Success in this role requires delivering impactful, sustainable resolutions and serving as a trusted steward on critical credit matters across the organization.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large-scale planning for Credit Resolution functional area
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large-scale cross-functional or enterprise-wide strategies
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large-scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of Credit Resolution functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with Credit Resolution peers, colleagues, and middle to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead Credit Resolution projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Credit Resolution experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in a discipline such as accounting, finance, and or economics.
  • Experience in commercial or corporate lending in a credit intensive role.
  • Prior commercial or corporate workout, special asset, or credit resolution experience under a regulated environment.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation including credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary legal documents.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, package, and present analytical findings in an insightful and logical manner to internal stakeholders and senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and achieve goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in managing complex internal and external partners and customers relationships.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite product skills to include (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, Team)

Job Expectations:
  • Travel up to 10%
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
