This role owns executive-level performance analysis, pressure-tests forecasting and compensation strategies, and works directly with business owners to identify opportunities, solve performance gaps, and maximize profitability. The Lead Analyst is expected to move quickly, challenge assumptions, and influence high-impact decisions across the business.

The ideal candidate is exceptionally strong in Excel, highly analytical, and energized by fast-paced, performance-driven environments. They operate with urgency, navigate ambiguity confidently, and lead cross-functional teams through complex market dynamics and sales optimization initiatives with clarity and precision.


What You’ll Do:  

  • Serve as the lead analytics partner for assigned clients and sales organizations, owning performance analysis, forecasting, and commercial reporting

  • Lead performance discussions and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Own daily Excel-driven analysis across sales performance, profitability, forecasting, and compensation strategy

  • Build and maintain complex financial models, pro forma P&Ls, incentive structures, and scenario analyses

  • Partner directly with independent sales leaders and business owners to improve performance, optimize earnings, and identify growth opportunities

  • Develop executive-level reporting, KPI dashboards, and commercial performance analysis in Excel and Tableau

  • Validate reporting accuracy, data integrity, and financial assumptions while quickly identifying trends, gaps, and risks

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support team and organizational priorities


What You’ll Bring:  

  • Advanced Excel & Technical Analytics: Expert-level Excel capabilities with strong experience in financial modeling, large dataset management, reporting automation, and KPI/dashboard development using tools such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Commercial & Financial Acumen: Understands the operational and financial drivers behind sales performance, profitability, forecasting, and compensation strategy

  • Analytical Problem Solving: Quickly identifies trends, risks, inconsistencies, and growth opportunities within complex datasets and ambiguous business scenarios

  • Executive Communication: Presents insights, recommendations, and performance narratives clearly and confidently to leadership and cross-functional teams

  • Ownership & Execution: Operates with urgency, manages competing priorities effectively, and delivers accurate work in fast-paced, high-performance environments
